Welcome to Brave ASSIST, UNC Pembroke’s scholarship application portal.

The 2024-2025 general application has been extended out until April 5th 2024. Completing the six-question general application gives students priority access to almost 330 scholarships. This application takes less than five minutes to complete. Please note that although completing the application gives students priority access to scholarships, ALL students will be matched to scholarships based solely on their student data.

There are 27 scholarships that require additional questions to be completed. These applications will open February 1, 2024 and will close on April 5th 2024. These scholarships require answers to an additional 1-3 questions.

UNCP awards numerous scholarships each academic year through the fundraising efforts of the UNCP Foundation and the generosity of private donors. Scholarship award amounts vary and are often awarded based on several factors including, but not limited to, demonstrated academic success, financial need, and donor-specific criteria.

Auto-match Scholarships: All current and newly-admitted students are considered for auto-match scholarships based on information imported from their student file.

Apply-to Scholarships: These scholarships require additional questions or an essay to be eligible for award. After reviewing the scholarship description, please complete these additional requirements to be considered for these scholarships.

Award: The amount stated is for general information purposes and not a guarantee of what a student may receive if awarded. Actual award amounts can vary based on recipient eligibility, available funds, and other factors.
Deadline: The date by which students should complete any individual scholarship applications for apply-to scholarships to receive consideration.
Actions: You will be automatched with scholarships for which you meet the criteria. These scholarships indicate “None” under “Action” and require no additional information from you for consideration. A limited number of scholarships indicate “Apply” under “Action” and require individual applications for consideration.
