The Jim & Jamie Self Endowed Tuba Scholarship

This fund is being established by the donor to honor Dr. Joanna Hersey for her excellent career as a tuba player, teacher and administrator and for her service to the greater tuba world. Jim Self establishes this scholarship to support an excellent tuba student in the department of music. If two students are equally excellent, the most creative students should be selected. The recipient will be selected be recommendation of the tuba professor in agreement with the music department chair. This award is renewable if the student continues to maintain the excellent level of performance and achievement.
