Marshall W. and Gertrude Locklear Endowed Memorial Scholarship

The Marshall W. and Gertrude Locklear Endowed Memorial Scholarship was initially established by family and friends in 1990 to honor the memory of Marshall W. Locklear. In 2000, Gertrude Locklear’s name was added to honor her memory as well. This scholarship is designed to provide an opportunity for a Native American student to obtain a degree in Religion. The recipient shall be a candidate for the ministry or plan to enter full-time religious service; financial need will not be a consideration; and, the recipient shall be a full-time student with a subject major of Philosophy and Religion.
