David K. Kuo Memorial Scholarship

The Kuo family and their friends wish to honor the memories of Dr. David K. Kuo and Dr. Elizabeth H. Kuo by establishing this scholarship. Dr. David Kuo was a professor of Biology, and Dr. Elizabeth Kuo was a professor of Geography. Together, they served The University of North Carolina at Pembroke for a combined total of 59 dedicated years. Throughout their lifetimes, Drs. David and Elizabeth Kuo enriched and inspired the lives of numerous students, fellow faculty members, and the staff at UNC Pembroke. Eligible recipients of this scholarship are full-time undergraduate students; one in Biology and one in Geo-Environmental. Financial need are not considerations for this honor. The award is renewable contingent upon sufficient funds being available.
