KURU Footwear Scholarship

We believe that every aspiring nurse has the potential to make their dreams of a fulfilling nursing career a reality. That’s why we are thrilled to announce the Path to Caring Excellence Scholarship 2023!
The Path to Caring Excellence Scholarship has been established to support and empower nursing students in their pursuit of academic and professional excellence in the field of healthcare.
The winner will receive a one-time $1,000 scholarship to be applied to qualified expenses, including undergraduate tuition, fees, books, and on-campus room and board for the 2023-2024 academic year.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for the KURU Footwear Path to Caring Excellence Scholarship 2023, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a citizen of the US
Be an incoming undergraduate freshman, sophomore, junior or senior entering the Spring 2024 semester
Have a minimum 2.5 GPA
Pursuing a degree in nursing
Be enrolled full-time at an accredited college or university for the Spring 2024 semester
Submit a 300–400 word essay answering the following question: “What inspires you to pursue a career in nursing, and how do you envision making a positive impact in the healthcare field?”
SELECTION PROCESS AND NOTIFICATION
All applications will be reviewed by the KURU Footwear Scholarship Committee. Once the winner has been determined, they will be contacted by KURU Footwear, informed of the scholarship award, and asked to sign an acceptance letter. The winning applicant will be announced Friday, January 5, 2024.
