Native STEPS Agriculture Scholarship
This scholarship is funded by the Native American Agriculture Fund. The Native STEPS scholarship will fund student expenses up to $4,500. This scholarship is not renewable.
Deadline to Apply: July 1, 2025.
Eligibility:
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• Demonstrate financial need
• Completed FAFSA
• UNCP Registered Student
• Enrolled in one of UNCP’s Agricultural Sciences Degree Programs (120-credit hours)
• US citizen or permanent resident
• First-generation college student
Scholarship Requirements:
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
• Attend all UNCP Thomas Entrepreneurship HUB agricultural and financial literacy workshops
• Attend bi-weekly meetings with program mentors
• Attend all recommended tutoring sessions
• Completion of Entrepreneurship Courses (ENTR-2000, ENTR-2100 & ENTR-4000) recommended.
