Sam Cernugel Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship was established by family and friends to honor the memory of Sam Cernugel of Fairmont. Mr. Cernugel spent much time working to improve the quality of life in and around his home in Robeson County. The recipient of the scholarship shall be a full time undergraduate in financial need who meets all academic requirement of the University. First priority will be given to a student who is a member, or the child of a member, of the First Baptist Church, South Main Street, Fairmont. Failing a qualified candidate, the recipient will be a resident of Robeson County. The award is renewable.
