Nat and Sandra Tolar Endowed Athletic Scholarship

The Donor wishes to establish this athletic endowment to assist in attracting and retaining quality student-athletes to UNC Pembroke as their chosen higher education institution. The Donor recognizes the important role intercollegiate athletics plays in preparing young people for their life following graduation. The Donor wishes to assist a deserving student-athlete who would not be able to begin or continue their athletic and academic pursuits at UNC Pembroke without this additional support. The recipients of this scholarship will be a UNC Pembroke student-athlete and maintain the minimum University Standard QPA. Incoming freshman as well as current students will be eligible. There is no requirement with regard to major of study, residency, or financial need. The award is renewable.
